Who are your doctors?



The Ear, Nose and Throat Medical Group  has been in operation since 1905, our continuing practice is the longest of any ear, nose and throat specialty group in the United States. Physicians who have served in the group have been distinguished surgeons, teachers, and community leaders, The physicians now in the group are listed below in the order in which they joined the practice.


J. Gordon Vap, M.D.


J. Gordon Vap, M.D., is a graduate of the University of California at Davis School of Medicine. He did his residency in otolaryngology at the Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center and was certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology in 1977. Additionally, Dr. Vap completed an otology fellowship (diseases and surgery of the ear) through the University of Southern California School of Medicine. A native of Nebraska, Dr. Vap first came to Washington, D.C. with the Navy in 1977 to serve as a medical staff specialist at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda. He is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has served as a consultant to the National Institutes of Health, the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and the Medical Advisory Board of the Treatment and Learning Center.



David R. Range, M.D.


doc4.jpgDr David Range grew up in rural Wisconsin and attended the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado, followed medical school at the Medical College in Wisconsin. Dr Range was further trained at Malcolm Grow USAF Medical Center
in Princes Georges County, Maryland, and the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He became board certified in 1983 in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (ENT).  Dr Range continued to practice in the US Air Force in a variety of United States and overseas locations until reaching 30
years of active duty and then retired from active duty in 2001.
Dr Range has worked in Otolaryngology constantly since 1983 and is knowledgeable in all aspects of the field, with special interest in nasal and sinus surgery and in pediatric illnesses. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.




Kay Wise Au.D.


1doc3.jpgKay Wise, AuD. has been a clinical audiologist for over 20 years and has extensive experience in diagnostic hearing and balance testing, and hearing aid evaluations and fittings. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland, with a B.A. in Hearing and Speech Science, and earned her Masters of Arts in Audiology from the George Washington University in 1986. Dr. Wise received her Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2001. Dr. Wise is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Maryland Academy of Audiology. Her special interests include vestibular testing and advanced hearing aid technologies.






Linda DiCamillo Au.D.


Picture%20035.jpgLinda DiCamillo, Au.D. is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in Hearing and Speech Sciences, and earned her M.S. in Audiology from Vanderbilt University in 1995. Dr. DiCamillo earned her Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2005. She has extensive experience in diagnostic hearing testing, hearing aid fitting and evaluation, having worked for over 10 years in the medical field and 2 years at Siemens Hearing Instruments in Piscataway, N.J. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
